Description: The Humber Cinema, formally located at Jane & Bloor Streets, opened on January 27, 1948. It was designed by architect Jay Isadore, originally seating 1200 patrons. It was operated for decades by the Odeon cinema chain, was closed in 2003, abandoned, and after a renovation, re-opened by new owners in 2011. The theatre is permanently closed on May 30, 2019 and no longer standing. It has since been replaced with Condo's and Retail shops in the  Bloor West Village.
