A Legacy of Local Commerce
For over 73 years, this building was home to family-owned grocery stores that served the Hamilton community with dedication and care. Among them was Nixon Grocer, which operated from 1912 to 1922. Today, fragments of its original custom tile still remain—a quiet tribute to the generations of local grocers who shaped this corner of the city.

Located in the heart of Barton Village, Hamilton (Canada) came the inspiration for 'Vintage Charm'
