Colonia Buenavista is a colonia or neighborhood in the Cuauhtémoc borough located northwest of the historic center of Mexico City. The colonia is also home the offices of the Cuauhtémoc borough and the mega José Vasconcelos Library. The library building consists of three levels, and the scenic views are incredible. I caught this view of this building, and it became my first piece created from my 2026 art residency in Oaxaca, Mexico.
