Collection: Día a Día I Day to Day
A joint exhibition by two urban artists - Canadian artist Gordon Leverton and Méxican artist Harumi Tanimoto - debuting together in México City. The exhibition is presented at #HASHTAG Gallery in the Condesa neighborhood of México City from February 12th to March 1st.

Opening Feb 12th at 7PM till late.
The collaboration began following Leverton's first international artist residency in Guadalajara, México, where he was introduced to Tanimoto's work. Despite the artists coming from different cultural and geographic contexts - Canada and México - they quickly discovered shared artistic interests: an attentiveness to the everyday landscape, an interest in architectural forms, and a sensitivity to light and shadow as narrative elements.
What began as an informal exchange of ideas evolved into a year-long collaborative process and the formation of Día a Día | Day to Day was developed - slowly and intentionally, allowing each of the Artists to respond independently to their daily surroundings while remaining in dialogue with one another.

The resulting works reflect parallel interpretations of urban life -quiet moments, overlooked spaces, and the rhythms of daily experience shaped by place. Rather than presenting a unified visual language, the exhibition highlights resonance and contrast, emphasizing how similar ways of seeing can emerge across distinct cities and lived experiences. Together, they offer a contemplative exploration of the ordinary as a site of connection, memory and meaning.
Collection now available for purchase and viewing at #Hashtag Gallery (Mexico City) from Feb 12 to March 1st
