Gordon Leverton x Harumi Tanimoto

Día a Día I Day to Day is a joint exhibition of two urban architectural artists from  Canada + Mexico.

During Leverton’s 2025 art residency in Guadalajara, he was introduced to the artwork of Harumi Tanimoto – urban artist from Mexico City – and connected with her while in Mexico. They both have admiration of each other’s artistic practice as they share similar views architecture, forgotten buildings and urban landscape.   

They are now planning their collective exhibition Día a Día I Day to Day a personal collection of work inspired from their respective cities  —Tanimoto from Mexico City, Mexico and Leverton from Hamilton, Canada — exhibiting during Zona MACO — the largest and most prestigious contemporary art fair in Latin America, at #Hashtag Gallery (Mexico City, Mexico) from February 12 – March 1, 2026.
