Framed in Canada: Custom-made gallery black wood frame, with 1 1/2 inch "snow" colour gallery grade matting, anti-reflective glass, signed and dated on reverse of painting.
Inspiration: Inspired from the language and colour's of the architecture the colonial district of Providencia, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and created during 2025 self-guided art residency in San Antonio, Tlayacapan, Mexico.






A bit of history of Guadalajara I Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco state, stands as a vibrant cultural hub in the heart of Mexico. Renowned for its rich historical background, Guadalajara is the second-largest city in the country, with a population of over five million residents, an attribute that emphasizes its significance in Mexican society. The city’s establishment dates back to 1542, making it a focal point for cultural development and architectural marvels over the centuries.

Guadalajara known for its charming colonial architecture, the city beautifully blends modernity with historical influences, showcasing churches, parks, and plazas that provide a glimpse into its storied past.

It is often celebrated as the birthplace of mariachi music, a genre synonymous with Mexican culture. This musical tradition, in conjunction with its diverse and dynamic arts scene that reflects its rich history and modern flare, has established the city as a mecca for creative expression.
