News

My first show of the new year opens on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at the Pearl Company Arts Centre in Hamilton. Titled "The Streets of Hamilton", this small group show will shine a spotlight on this hearty industrial city with works from Sylvia Simpson, Rod Paget, John Stirling, Rob Laffier and Eric Ranveau. Opening night also features entertainment from Banned From Heaven - arrive early before the food goes...

The official grand opening of Ransom Art by Design is happening on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 in Collingwood, Ontario. This pretty, four season town is usually jumping with skiers this time of year, so skid on over to the gallery and say hi.

I'm currently talking with a gallery in Ottawa for possible representation - for those of you in the capital region, stay tuned to this page for info.

My friends Jan Yates and Michelle Tietsma have generously invited me to join their online auction blog, Art for Auction. I currently have three small works up on the site starting at an opening bid of $75.  Hey, I don't want to hear "but i can't afford real art" from you anymore!

A big thanks to writer Dave LeBlanc for including me in his article from Aug. 13/09 in the Globe and Mail. To read more about "the house painters", view the online version here.
